With 11 national championships, 38 conference titles, 7 heisman trophy winners, 154 all americans, and a record of 766–303–54 (.717), USC is one of the best teams currently and throughout history!
The USC football team began in 1888 winning their first game 16-0, a foreshadow of the domination to come. Their next game, against their first collegiate opponent they won 40-0. Years passed, things changed, they became the Trojans. But their golden age really began in 1960, when John McKay became the head coach. They won four national championships under McKay, 1962, 1967, 1972, and 1974.
Coached by Pete Carroll now, the team thrives since coming under Carroll the team has had a record of 88-15 and won 2 national titles. They have consistantly ranked in the top 5 in the final BCS and AP Polls.
The USC Trojans currently play in Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum which can hold 93,607 screaming fans! It has even been filled up by over 100,000 USC fans multiple times!
